We are seeking a proactive and motivated Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for our Linden, Alberta location.

The responsibilities include conducting preventive and routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting machinery to minimize downtime, and sourcing and stocking critical parts. The position involves collaborating with the Production Manager and team to maintain smooth daily operations in our production facility. The ideal candidate is adaptable, enthusiastic, and possesses strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Take proactive steps to document preventative maintenance (PMs)
  • Identify and resolve irregularities and malfunctions on equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure workplace safety
  • Learn and adapt to new equipment
  • Handle installations and projects from start to completion

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and VFD operations
  • 1-3 years experience of handling equipment installations from start to finish on projects
  • 1-2 years of welding experience
  • Proficiency in electronic systems, use of computers, and various software
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Valid driver's license and experience operating heavy equipment
